Plot:   He was nobody's hero until he landed in the wrong bed…

Chad Summers is living his dream—helicopter logging by day and slipping between the sheets with Mrs. Right Now by night. Until his wild nights threaten his day job, leaving Chad with a choice: prove he can settle down or kiss his dream goodbye. But when he ends up in the wrong bed, the one woman in Independence Falls he can't touch offers a tempting proposition. Chad is ready and willing to give in to the primal desire to make Lena his at night—on one condition. By day, they pretend their relationship is real.

But their connection extends beyond the bedroom, threatening to turn their sham into reality if Chad can prove he's the hero Lena needs night and day… forever.

 My Review

☆ I was gifted a copy by the author in exchange for an honest review. Thank you!! ☆

Hero by Night is the third installment of Sara Jane Stone’s Independence Falls series. It follows Chad Summers, the brother of Katie, whom you may remember from Caught in the Act, as he parades through his life with piloting helicopters and being the town’s ultimate bachelor.

This all changes of course, when his playboy night life lands him in the wrong bed of Lena Clark—the town newbie and ex-military operative who suffers from PTSD and a failed marriage, whom he meets one night at a party.

With an undeniable attraction for one another, Chad is offered a tempting proposition that could reform his reputation and save his career, as well as, help Lena conquer her fears and problems with close intimacy.

What will become of this unlikely duo? Will it bring the answers they seek? Or will it bring heartbreak and ruin? Read and you will find out!

11204177 So, my thoughts: I really liked this latest installment as it brings both Chad and Lena out of their comfort zones and into the reality of the unknown. It was hard thing to witness, but isn't is always difficult to face the sea of the unknown? I know it's definitely hard for me!

I’m now really curious about Brody’s story, Chad’s brother, and how everything will pan out for him in the upcoming follow up sequel, Wild With You, seeing that he suffers from short-term memory loss after that horrible accident.

Can’t wait to see how it unfolds, as it looks like he will be paired up with a woman who had an unrequited crush on him in high school! Oooh!! I love those types of romances!! Yay!!
