 My Review

*I was provided an ARC via the author in exchange for an honest review. Thank you!!*

Calla Lily was an okay read compared to it’s predecessor, Gilded Lily. While I loved the thrill and suspense of book one, this one took a bit of a back seat and more so focused on what was going on Lily’s home front.

You see, book two starts right where book one left off: Lily returning home from Brazil more confused and vulnerable than ever and in an emotional tailspin.

Now add to the mix a new suitor who wants not only control of her family’s company but also her body.

What is Lily to do? One thing’s for sure: it isn’t all work and no play for this tempted vixen!

A great second installment but I would have liked a bit more emphasis on certain things and for it to be more conclusive than so short and abrupt. But, beggars can’t be choosers so I’m crossing my fingers for more in the final book in the Gilded Flowers series! I can’t wait!

My Rating:
-Overall : 8
-Plot : 8
-Writing : 8
-Characters : 8
-Cover : 8
