MY REVIEW:
After catching her boyfriend of two years cheating on her, Alexandra finds herself moving far, far away from her New York stomping ground and back in her home roots of Georgia.
Now faced with having to restart her entire life with school, a new job and friends, and keeping her aunt's cotton acre alive, how will she succumb to the new changes?
And with a guilty conscious to mend, will Alexandra ever forgive herself and continue her dream of working as a nurse?
Now throw in three men who are out to win her heart with one's ex flame still very much in the picture and you have yourself a story!
My thoughts: I'll admit, there was one point of the story where it really dragged and I nearly gave up on it. But I'm glad I didn't.
In all retrospect, I, in fact, really enjoyed this story. It's crazy how she has to juggle three men vying for her affection but I guess when you're the new girl in town it's easy to make a splash upon men. Hmm.
I really now can't wait to see how things unfold even more in book two as Alexandra finds herself even more in a tricky situation and the stakes rising. It's going to be interesting for sure!
And as for Blaise, her love interest, I hope he really puts his foot down with Danielle and even his uncle in the next installment!! They really need to be put in their places! Grr!
So anyway, a very fast and easy read about love, passion, trust, forgiveness, starting anew, and chasing your dreams!
