BOOK REVIEW...Fight For You (Sweet Submission #1) by Adriana Hunter

He is violent, wild, painfully passionate and he will win at all costs.

A fighter, and a woman willing to fight for a real chance at love...

Liam Cross grew up on the rough streets of New York City. Out on his own for most of his life he learned from an early age that the only person he could count on was himself.

Angela Reynolds, a woman born into a life of privilege, is the girl least likely to capture Liam's heart. Through a chance encounter the burning chemistry and uncontrollable passion between them is undeniable, but when Liam's past threatens to tear them apart they are forced to face the truth about who they really are and what they truly need.

While opposites attract, can they ever rise above their differences to share a future together? Is Angela willing to risk it all to love the boy from the wrong side of town, even if it means leaving behind everything she's ever known?

How disappointing.

I was totally psyched to read this since the guy was a fighter (which I normally love!) but it fell short for me.  I felt like there was a whole bunch of drama over nothing.  I get that the guy has his past demons which make him feel troubled and inadequate but he needs to get over that because life goes on.

As for the girl, well, she had like no personality and no backbone.  She's just there really and has no mind of her own.  I wanted to strangle her and tell her she's 21 so she should live her own life and make her own choices.  Tell all those other people who want to interfere the back off and move out of your parents' house so they can't control you anymore.

Ugh, this story so annoyed me.  I get that this is part of the synopsis but in the end it was just painful and frustrating.  Gah, these people need to take control of their own lives and stop living in the past and not the rules of others!

Not worth the three bucks guys.  Sorry.
