Title:  Real (Real #1)
Author:  Katy Evans
Publication Date: Published April 8th 2013 (first published 2012)
Goodreads URL: HERE
Plot:  A fallen boxer.
A woman with a broken dream.
A competition…

He even makes me forget my name. One night was all it took, and I forgot everything and anything except the sexy fighter in the ring who sets my mind ablaze and my body on fire with wanting…

Remington Tate is the strongest, most confusing man I’ve ever met in my life.

He’s the star of the dangerous underground fighting circuit, and I’m drawn to him as I’ve never been drawn to anything in my life. I forget who I am, what I want, with just one look from him. When he’s near, I need to remind myself that I am strong–but he is stronger. And now it’s my job to keep his body working like a perfect machine, his taut muscles primed and ready to break the bones of his next opponents . . .

But the one he’s most threatening to, now, is me.

I want him. I want him without fear. Without reservations.

If only I knew for sure what it is that he wants from me?

MY REVIEW:

"Hi, I'm Remington" Swoon.
I was recommended this book by a friend since we both love possessive alpha male characters AND MAN WAS I NOT DISAPPOINTED!!!!!!

OMG. Remy, you have OFFICIALLY climbed the ranks of all of my book boyfriends and peaked to have me fangirling you like how I do with Travis Maddox!! Will you be my other hubby and we can make smexy babies together? :)

Remington "Remy" Tate is a flawed boxer who suffers from a manic mood disorder. Brooke Dumas, is an ex-Olympic hopefulnow turned sports rehab specialist who finds herself at an Underground boxing fight and is sighted by Remy and both are instantly smitten with one another.

Remy later contracts Brooke to work for him *and to get closer to her* and the two of them find themselves in a tumultuous love that's off the charts scorching hot!!

really loved the diversity and vulnerability these characters brought out of each other. I'm familiar with the mood disorder that Remy has since my best friend's brother suffers from it so I could feel for him and his apprehensiveness about revealing his condition to Brooke. He REALLY wanted Brooke to KNOW HIM and "UNDERSTAND HIM" but was understandably fearful that she'd turn her back on him and leave him forever.

Brooke, on the other hand, was a likable character that I could relate to. She wholeheartedly loves "REAL Remy" and "BLACK Remy" and accepts him the good and the bad which really shows a lot to Remy and her as a character.

HIGHLY RECOMMEND this book and am anxious for the sequel. *squeals* Seriously, guys PICK UP THIS BOOK. I'm not kidding!! :)
